Visit, Learn and Tour our Alpaca Farm in Beautiful Central Virginia
Welcome to Sacred Acres Alpaca Farm where we raise beautiful alpacas for their luxurious fiber. We are located in Fluvanna County among the low rolling hills of the Virginia Piedmont.
We are open to visitors by appointment year-round, and periodically for open farm events. By car, our farm is 70 miles from Richmond, 25 miles from Charlottesville, and 50 miles from Lynchburg. We are located 6 miles south of I-64, Exit 136, on State Route 15 (James Madison Highway).

For our visitors, along with being able to meet and greet our alpacas, we have many trails through 23 wooded acres and along Ballinger Creek, our eastern boundary. Our alpacas are trained to walk on halter and lead, and guests can schedule to walk them over fields and along trails with a guide. Also available for our visitors are 2 picnic areas with tables. A golf cart is available on site to provide farm access to those who might not be able to walk easily.
A large 2-story barn, built in 2018, serves as a space for animal activities in the lower barn and the upper barn houses our farm store and fiber workshop.
While alpacas are the focal point of our farm, we are building a peace-filled environment that we hope you will want to come back to — to learn about the animals, the land and the environment we all live in, and to enjoy a place where you can unplug and recharge.
